Tamar Goldblatt is the Senior Manager for Population Health Client Solutions at athenahealth. Tamar builds relationships with athena’s Population Health clients, partnering to develop population management strategies and optimizing client performance and guiding high-level strategy. Prior to athenahealth, Tamar was with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where she negotiated the value-based financial relationship between Blue Cross and executives of integrated health systems and provider organizations. Additionally, she led the development of Blue Cross’ Medicare Advantage risk contracting strategy. Tamar has also served as a consultant with Booz Allen, as well as in state government and earlier in financial services. Ms. Goldblatt holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a BA in Health Policy and Political Economy from New York University.
