Matthew Collier is senior managing director for Health within Accenture Strategy. His role focuses on redesigning business models, and on helping organizations profitably manage their evolving customer needs.
Mr. Collier has more than 20 years of experience as a global lead building and growing teams, practices and companies across the healthcare landscape. He is experienced in addressing strategic, commercial and innovation issues, helping C-suite executives around the globe to grow their businesses, contain costs and transform the healthcare community.
Directly prior to joining Accenture, Mr. Collier was responsible for driving Bain & Company’s efforts across Asia Pacific, with a particular emphasis on China. He developed and led Bain’s Global Medtech growth initiative from nascent to market leading in five years. In addition, he has held executive roles in a diverse set of healthcare start-up companies. Mr. Collier has held external directorships in a range of pharmaceutical, medical device and life sciences companies and has played a central role in critical funding for numerous privately-backed companies.
Mr. Collier has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and a Master of Management degree with Dean’s List and Beta Gamma Sigma Academic honors from J.J. Kellogg School of Management. He is based in San Francisco, California, United States.
