Kelly Summers is the Senior Director of Digital Transformation at Dignity Health where she is responsible for patient-facing digital assets such as the patient portal, online care delivery, and various digital health interventions.
Kelly began her career as an oncology nurse and has over thirty years of clinical, operational, and informatics leadership experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Kansas and her Masters of Administration from Northern Arizona University. A life-long learner, she is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Leadership at the University of Kansas.
Her professional and academic pursuits include digital health intervention development and adoption, transformation of care delivery through enabling technology, and developing informatics skill at all organizational levels. She is passionate about empowering individuals in the management of their health and healthcare.
