Geri Lynn Baumblatt, MA, is the Executive Director of Patient Engagement at Emmi where she oversaw the creation of multimedia patient engagement and shared decision-making programs and calls. She speaks and serves on panels for organizations like AHRQ, the Brookings Institute, Stanford Medicine X, and the Society for Medical Decision Making. She partners with clinicians and researchers to study patient and clinician engagement, serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Patient Experience, blogs on patient engagement for the Association for Patient Experience, hosts an annual Health Literacy Month Series, and is an adjunct instructor at Northwestern University.
