David brings nearly 20 years of healthcare leadership experience to the Mission Healthcare team, beginning with his six years of United State Navy service. As a Navy corpsman, David treated both sailors and Marines in combat zones. The experience instilled a deep passion to serve others in their time of need. Following his military service, David worked in West Africa as a member of an OB/GYN surgery team, further deepening his desire to lead wherever he may be called.
Following his work in Africa, David managed and led medical practices, focusing on a client and patient first customer service model to develop customer and patient loyalty and revenue growth. With this experience, David transitioned into sales and development within the senior living industry, working in development for a nationally recognized provider of senior living, homecare and hospice. David eventually rose to the helm of this organization as the executive director for their private duty care management and home care division in San Diego. Following this experience, David joined Mission Healthcare where he started as field sales professional before taking his current position as Mission’s regional manager of development.
