Daniel McCaffrey has 10+ years in the Healthcare space and is currently Dexcom’s director of digital health, data and analytics.
Before that, he was a member of the Boston Consulting Group Digital Ventures (BCGDV) serving as Lead Product Manager for two years. Here, he led fortune 100 pharma, biopharma and healthcare companies through product ideation, incubation, strategy, development and commercialization. Prior to joining BCGDV, Daniel worked for eight years in roles of increasing responsibility and scope for the Harvard Medical School and several startups focused on healthcare, innovation and technology.
A former research scientist and clinician in training, Daniel believes in a vision of a technologically-enabled healthcare system. He is passionate about developing products, services and technology that can shape the future of health and wellness, while improving outcomes.
Daniel was a former research fellow at the National Institutes of Health and currently serves as an advisor and mentor to several startups.
He earned his Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems and his M.B.A. from Quinnipiac University as well as his M.A. in Neuropsychology from Suffolk University.
